jobs@point.edu Description Point University is seeking part-time instructors to teach Mathematics for its DCE programs at partner schools in the Atlanta Metro area. Copies of graduate transcripts are required for applications to be considered . We are training the next generation of Christian leaders to take the cross to more job sites, churches, industries, and nations than ever before.
Primary teaching responsibilities may include:
MTH 113: Intermediate Algebra MTH 120: College Algebra MTH 191: Pre-Calculus Other courses within the discipline/subject Requirements Master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours in Mathematics ; doctorate preferred. Effective teaching ability/excellent communication skills. Demonstrated ability to teach college-level courses to high school students in a dual-enrollment setting preferred. Basic computer literacy. Prior teaching experience at the collegiate level preferred. Experience with Canvas LMS preferred Willingness to be a professional role model and mentor. Commitment to undergraduate education, professional growth, service, and scholarship in a distinctively Christian setting, including agreement with the University's mission and goals, values, and doctrinal statement.
