Academic Instructor - Math (K-8th Grade)

Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our educational team. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Teach mathematics concepts across different grade levels, adapting instruction to meet diverse student needs. Assess and evaluate student performance through assignments, tests, and projects, providing constructive feedback. Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration. Utilize technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance learning experiences. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices. Collaborate with fellow educators to create interdisciplinary projects that enrich the curriculum. Experience A degree from a recognized university in Mathematics, Education, or a related field is required. Previous teaching experience in mathematics at the middle or high school level is preferred but not mandatory. Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and ability to convey them effectively to students. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage students of varying abilities.
