Job Summary:
By cultivating the individual, CCS provides college preparatory academics in a family environment to biblically equip and empower students to serve their community and world for God's glory. In our pursuit of academic excellence, we provide an environment which promotes godly values and Christ-like character. We are partners with the home to cultivate a healthy Christian atmosphere where students can be equipped and empowered to reach their greatest potential. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate High School Teacher to join our team. As a High School Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students. You will develop and implement lesson plans, assess student progress, and provide guidance and support to help students achieve their academic goals.
Schedule:
We are a four day a week school; school days are Monday
  • Thursday.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
  • Assess student progress through assignments, exams, and other forms of evaluation
  • Provide constructive feedback to students to support their growth and development
  • Foster a positive and vibrant classroom environment
  • Provide academic advising and support to students as needed
  • Participate in parent-teacher conferences to discuss student progress
  • Stay up-to-date with educational best practices and incorporate them into teaching strategies
Qualifications:
  • Supports and can uphold CCS's statement of faith
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
  • Experience working with high school students
  • Strong knowledge of the subject matter being taught (e.g., Math, English, Science)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to effectively manage a classroom and maintain discipline
  • Strong organizational skills for lesson planning and grading assignments
