Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate High School Teacher to join our team. As a High School Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students. You will develop and implement lesson plans, assess student progress, and provide guidance and support to help students achieve their academic goals.

Schedule:

We are a four day a week school; school days are Monday

• Thursday.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
• Assess student progress through assignments, exams, and other forms of evaluation
• Provide constructive feedback to students to support their growth and development
• Foster a positive and vibrant classroom environment
• Provide academic advising and support to students as needed
• Participate in parent-teacher conferences to discuss student progress
• Stay up-to-date with educational best practices and incorporate them into teaching strategies

Qualifications:

• Supports and can uphold CCS's statement of faith
• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
• Experience working with high school students
• Strong knowledge of the subject matter being taught (e.g., Math, English, Science)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to effectively manage a classroom and maintain discipline
• Strong organizational skills for lesson planning and grading assignments
