  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Assess and evaluate student performance through various methods, including tests, projects, and presentations, providing constructive feedback to promote improvement.
  • Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation, collaboration, and respect.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and technologies to enhance student learning and adapt instruction based on individual learning styles.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create interdisciplinary projects and share best practices for mathematics instruction.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, classroom activities, and any concerns.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and best practices in mathematics education.
  • Supervise and mentor students during extracurricular activities, math clubs, and tutoring sessions as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other required documentation. Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field;
  • Valid teaching certification in Mathematics for the appropriate grade level or ability to obtain one. Desired Experience and Skills Proven experience teaching mathematics in a classroom setting, preferably at the middle or high school level.
  • Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and the ability to convey them effectively to students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in using educational technology and software to enhance instruction.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
