QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree or higher with major in intended area of teaching responsibility or Endorsement State of Illinois Certification/License/Endorsement 6-12/Type 09 Middle School/High School teaching or student teaching experience

Building Principal(s)
JOB GOAL
To provide instruction which meets the unique needs of students and accomplishes the school district's educational goals and objectives.
PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Planning & Preparation Demonstrating Knowledge of Content and Pedagogy Demonstrating Knowledge of Students Setting Instructional Outcomes Demonstrating Knowledge of Resources Designing Coherent Instruction Assessing Student Learning Classroom Environment Creating an Environment of Respect and Rapport Establishing a Culture for Learning Managing Classroom Procedures Managing Student Behaviors Organizing Physical Space Instruction Communicating with Students Using Questioning and Discussion Techniques Engaging Students in Learning Using Assessments in Instruction Demonstrating Flexibility & Responsiveness Professional Responsibilities Reflecting on Learning Maintaining Accurate Records Communicating with Families Participating in a Professional Community Growing & Developing Professionally Professionalism Attendance
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Salary and work year to be established by the Board
EVALUATION
Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with the Performance Evaluation Reform Act (PERA) and SB 7. Any conflicts within this provision and SB 7 will be superseded by Ed Reform.
