Key qualifications:
Valid IL Professional Educator License (PEL) with elementary education endorsement Strong background in teaching math and science concepts to upper elementary students Excellent classroom management and communication skills Demonstrated ability to differentiate instruction to meet a variety of learner needs Positive attitude and commitment to nurturing a supportive, inclusive classroom environment
Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging 4th grade math and science lessons as part of a general education curriculum Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state standards Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and adapting instruction as needed Foster a collaborative classroom culture to encourage participation and peer learning Communicate regularly with families and colleagues to support student development Attend staff meetings, professional learning opportunities, and contribute to the school community Enjoy a comprehensive package designed to support your well-being and professional growth.
