Job Description

Job Overview Math & Reading Center of Wheeling is seeking for highly motivated and dedicated individual who works closely and patiently with children, provides positive reinforcement, and instruct children during each class session. Duties Work with preschool and elementary school children in developing reading and math skills using Kumon Method. Observe students and administer worksheets according to the Kumon Method. Prepare student's work and organize student's files. Grade student's classwork and homework. Providing feedback to students and communicating student progress to Instructor. Individualizing strategies for student development based on student goals and communication with Instructor. Qualifications Strong proficiency in high school Math and/or English. Available to work evenings and perform various tasks within the Center as assigned. Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality. Ability to work as part of a team and build relationships with coworkers and customers. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Background in early childhood education or preschool experience is highly desirable. Join us in inspiring young minds! Pay:
$15.00 - $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 per week
