A Math Teacher teaches mathematics in elementary to secondary schools. Elementary school teachers focus on basic arithmetic, with some basic algebra in middle school, graduating to geometry, algebra and eventually calculus in high school.

Preparation and instruction for those planning on taking the TEAS Exam.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Create syllabus Instruct students in classroom. Assess & grade students regarding course competencies Submit grades to Division Administer evaluations
Requirements:
A related degree in Math or teaching Prior teaching experience preferred. Strong interpersonal skills. Communication skills that demonstrate sensitivity to adult learners, non-native English speakers, and diversely prepared students. Bilingual skills a plus. Experience with post-secondary learning programs. Teaching or training experience preferred. Candidates will be required to pass a CORI/SORI and/or a National background check as a condition of employment.
