Job Description

Winchester High School seeks a 1.0 Math Teacher for a Leave of Absence beginning October 16, 2026.

You are the ideal candidate if you have experience designing and implementing standards-based lessons that engage students in Algebra and Geometry. You are both passionate about math and committed to meeting students wherever they are on their path towards mastery. You have a growth mindset and are able to foster this thinking in others. You have experience employing a set of social and emotional learning strategies in coordination with other building-based staff that support the whole student.

Preference will be given to candidates who hold a valid Massachusetts DESE certification in high school Mathematics.

Winchester High School is a comprehensive high school that strives to meet the needs of all learners. WHS serves approximately 1,350 students in grades 9-12. Through engaging learning experiences that support the whole student, WHS prepares all graduates to be successful in their chosen path.
