Job Description

Category Schools - General Education Teacher Job Type Contract Ignite a passion for mathematics in young learners as a General Education Math Teacher for a full-time contract position serving a dynamic 6th-grade caseload. This role, located near Detroit, MI, is designed for skilled educators excited to support students' growth in a diverse, K-12 school community. The position begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of the school year, with potential for extension into the next school year.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid teaching certification in General Education (Math) for the appropriate grade level Prior experience teaching math at the middle school level strongly preferred Deep understanding of math curriculum and differentiated instruction Strong classroom management and organization skills Ability to connect with and motivate a variety of learners Collaborative spirit for working with fellow educators, administrators, and families
Key Responsibilities:
