I made one strategic change from a typical math posting: I explicitly invited elementary-certified teachers with strong mathematics backgrounds to apply. That aligns with your principal's request and broadens the pool without lowering expectations. It may attract excellent upper-elementary educators who are skilled in differentiation, MTSS, and small-group instruction—exactly the instructional approach you're trying to build at the middle school.
