Job Description
Are you an enthusiastic & skilled educator with a heart for students & a strong background in Math & Science? Kalamazoo Christian High School (KCHS), in Kalamazoo, Michigan, is looking for a passionate Academic Support Specialist to help anchor our Academic Support Program (ASP). This is a vital, hands-on role where you will directly impact the lives of 9th-12th grade students, equipping them with the knowledge & skills they need to succeed & become disciples who transform the world. This position is full time during school days only. Your Mission (What You'll Be Doing): You'll be a champion for our students who need targeted academic intervention. This isn't just "tutoring"—it's about building a robust, individualized pathway to success.
Individualized Curriculum Instruction & Support :
Design & deliver individualized academic instruction & support across a variety of subjects, with a particular focus on your math & science expertise. You'll create personalized learning programs based on students' specific needs to promote both academic growth & social development.Collaborative Leader:
Work hand-in-hand with our dedicated faculty to accommodate &/or modify curriculum & create a more effective, supportive learning environment for all special needs students.Cornerstone of Support:
Communicate educational plans clearly to all involved stakeholders (parents, teachers, & administrators) & meticulously maintain accurate student records, ensuring compliance with all necessary guidelines.Integrate Faith & Learning:

Bachelor's Degree (minimum). Teaching Certification (Secondary, with an emphasis in Mathematics preferred). Previous teaching experience is a major plus! Ready to Make an Eternal Impact?
