Math Learning Center Instructor

Instructor Mathnasium of Okemos is a franchise of the wider Mathnasium system, with over 1,000 Math-only learning centers worldwide. We are looking for part-time instructors who are passionate about children, education, and math. Ideal candidates are those who are experts in math, can teach by example, and have a solid understanding of intuition-based approaches to math. This is a rewarding opportuntiy to see and be a part of the educational journey of young learners. We cater both online and in-person to the Okemos, East Lansing, Lansing, Haslett, Williamston, Mason, and Holt areas. Before applying, know that when we are say we're looking for "math experts," we mean it. You will be required to take a math literacy test as part of the interview process which demands proficiency through the level of Algebra II. A practice for this test is provided at tiny.cc/MathnasiumTest and it is highly recommended that you use it to decide if taking the full test is worthwhile.
