II. MMSA

uses Reveal Math as its core curriculum, with ALEKS and IXL as school-wide supplements. The ideal candidate brings strong content knowledge, solid classroom management, and a commitment to student success. This role includes ongoing support through our instructional coaching model. Responsibilities Deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction in Algebra I and II Build lesson plans with differentiation and scaffolds for diverse learners Use assessment data to monitor progress and adjust instruction Maintain regular, positive communication with students and families Support IEPs, 504 plans, and intervention strategies with the student support team Use Reveal Math, ALEKS, and IXL as part of our aligned instructional systems Engage in coaching cycles and grade-level/content-team collaboration Maintain accurate grading, attendance, and assessment records Supervise students in and out of the classroom, including transitions Administer district and state assessments with fidelity Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong grasp of high school math curriculum, including Algebra I and II Effective instructional practices and differentiation strategies Ability to analyze data and act on it to drive student growth Comfort integrating ed-tech tools into instruction Classroom management rooted in fairness and consistency Strong communication with students, families, and colleagues Organizational skills and a growth-oriented mindset Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mathematics Education, Mathematics, Secondary Education (Math concentration), or related field Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with EX (Mathematics) endorsement 2+ years of successful teaching experience, preferably with similar student demographics Master's degree preferred
