Job Description
Albany Area Middle School is seeking a dedicated, energetic, and student-centered 7th & 8th Grade Math Interventionist. Key Responsibilities Implement evidence-based math interventions focused on foundational skills, algebraic reasoning, proportional relationships, and problem-solving strategies. Scaffold core curriculum concepts to help students bridge learning gaps and succeed in their grade-level math courses. Foster a positive, growth-oriented classroom culture that builds students' confidence and shifts their mindset around math. Administer diagnostic assessments and progress-monitoring tools to evaluate student growth. Continuously analyze quantitative and qualitative data to adjust instructional strategies, group fluidly, and track intervention efficacy. Partner closely with 7th and 8th-grade math teachers to align intervention topics with core classroom pacing and Minnesota Academic Standards in Mathematics.
