Position Expectations This position involves teaching Middle and Upper School students in grades 7 - 12. The primary teaching assignment is Algebra (Algebra I and Algebra II), with the possibility of additional courses based on the candidate's interests and experience. General faculty responsibilities include lesson planning, student assessment, and the preparation of progress reports. Additional duties may be assigned in alignment with the candidate's strengths and the school's needs.gr Qualifications The successful candidate will hold a bachelor's degree in mathematics, secondary education, or a related field, and will be able to develop and deliver lesson plans, create and assess assignments, and maintain accurate grading and progress reports. Position hours are from 8:00-4:00 each day. Effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues is essential. Problem solving, flexibility, critical thinking skills, strong emotional intelligence, a sense of humor, and enthusiasm, are desirable aspects of a successful candidate.
