About Our School:
Envision Science Academy, a K-8 Public Charter School located in Wake Forest, NC. We are a dynamic and innovative school committed to STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) and Project-Based Learning (PBL). Our mission is to provide innovative instruction through experiential learning with a focus on science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) in order to prepare elementary and middle school students to compete, lead, and excel in the global marketplace. Our vision is, by engaging in project based learning, students will be prepared to pursue STEAM related careers and become lifelong learners.
Position Overview:
This position is a 3rd grade teacher, delivering instruction for four sections of math daily. We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed educator who thrives in an environment that values empowerment and offers a flexible, teacher-led curriculum. The ideal candidate is excited about designing engaging, inquiry-driven lessons and guiding students through project-based experiences that foster deep understanding and real-world application.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement engaging, standards-aligned lessons using STEAM and PBL frameworks Facilitate hands-on, interdisciplinary projects that promote critical thinking and problem-solving Create a positive, inclusive classroom culture that supports diverse learners Use data and formative assessment to guide instruction and support student growth Collaborate with colleagues to plan integrated units and share best practices Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues Incorporate technology and innovative practices into daily instruction

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution Priority will be given to licensed teachers, whether certified in North Carolina or another state. Experience with STEAM and/or Project-Based Learning is preferred Strong classroom management and organizational skills The anticipated start date for this position is July 28, 2026.
