Position Overview We are seeking dynamic, energetic and passionate Academic and College Instructors for Fall 2026 in NYC to inspire and empower students across diverse backgrounds. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to student success through engaging instruction. Ideal candidates will bring enthusiasm for teaching, strong communication skills, and a commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles. Manage classroom dynamics to foster a positive learning environment. Provide mentorship and academic support to students, enhancing their educational experience. Communicate effectively with students regarding academic progress and challenges. Utilize technology and innovative teaching methods to facilitate learning. Assess student performance and adapt instructional strategies as needed. Qualifications Feel comfortable with providing general College and skill building guidance to students. Are familiar with College application formats (CUNY, Common App, SUNY App). Feel comfortable with providing academic assistance and tutoring (especially in basic high school level math, English and science). Are able to motivate high school level students. Have open and flexible availability. Bilingual capabilities (not required).
