This is a wonderful opportunity for the right AP math teacher: a part-time morning position that pays $200/hour ($3,250/week) teaching only two students. This is an immediate opportunity for the current 2026/27 school year. Looking for a qualified AP high school math teacher (Olympiad experience highly preferred) with extensive advanced math classroom experience who is able to teach AP Algebra through AP Calculus. The right teacher will be engaging and friendly, yet focused (and demanding) enough to keep the students moving forward during the lessons. The high level math teacher will be able to discern what each student is grasping and not understanding, and then focus on filling in gaps to build a stronger foundation without allowing the students to get too distracted. Some experience also teaching kids younger than high school age is preferred, but not required. Some time working in the summer months is also possible at the teacher's option. High level AP high school math experience is required, Olympiad experience is strongly preferred. A minimum BA or MA is required, and a PHD in math or a related subject is preferred. A minimum of five years teaching experience is required. State certification is preferred, but not required. Looking for an experienced AP math teacher who is flexible, who will communicate and collaborate with the parents, and who is a team player with good communication skills.
