Job Description

Seeking a STEM teacher to provide engaging, project-based instruction that prepares high school students for both postsecondary education and careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics fields. This position is ideal for a licensed educator in a STEM discipline (e.g., math, science, technology, or related field) who is passionate about applied learning or someone with engineering-related experience.
Responsibilities:
Provide engaging classroom instruction aligned to STEM standards and real-world applications. Design and facilitate hands-on, project-based learning experiences. Establish and communicate clear learning objectives. Assess and monitor student progress. Support development of critical thinking and collaboration skills. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and community partners. Integrate career awareness and postsecondary readiness. Maintain a supportive learning environment. Participate in school initiatives and professional learning.
Requirements:
A valid Ohio teaching license in a STEM-related field (e.g., Integrated Math, Science, Technology Education, or related area), or the ability to obtain appropriate licensure through Ohio pathways.
Preferences:
Experience teaching STEM courses at the secondary level. Ability to facilitate project-based and problem-based learning. Familiarity with STEM concepts such as design thinking, basic engineering principles, technology integration, and data analysis. Strong classroom management, organization, and instructional planning skills. Willingness to collaborate with academic and career-technical staff. Application deadline is April 17, 2026.
