Job Description
Part time or Full time available! Pay is dependent on years of experience, level of education, and number of hours worked. Company Overview Schaefer Education Solutions is a recognized provider of Autism Scholarship and Jon Peterson Scholarship programs approved by the Ohio Department of Education. Our mission is to empower students with autism and special needs through tailored educational support. Location 1:1 sessions with students take place in our Bellbrook, Ohio & Mason, Ohio as well as students homes in Dayton and Mason, Ohio. •Mileage is reimbursed. Summary We are seeking an Intervention Specialist to join our dedicated team at Schaefer Education Solutions. This role is pivotal in providing individualized support to students, ensuring they receive the necessary resources and guidance to thrive academically and socially. Responsibilities Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with autism and special needs. Provide direct instruction in literacy, math, and other core subjects tailored to each student's learning style. Utilize behavior management techniques to foster a positive learning environment. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress. Conduct assessments to monitor student growth and adjust instructional strategies accordingly. Facilitate social skills development and conflict resolution among students.
