Job Description
Village Christian Schools Math Teacher (Grades 6-12)
Position Summary High School Mathematics Teacher (Grades 612)
Under the general supervision of the building principal, the high school mathematics teacher develops and delivers standards-aligned instruction that supports student achievement and mathematical reasoning in accordance with Ohio Learning Standards.
Mid-Western Children's Home (MCH) and Village Christian School is a private agency licensed by the Ohio Department of Children and Youth. MCH provides stable, nurturing care for youth who require out-of-home placement for a variety of reasons.
MCH offers the following programs and services:
Group Home Program
Foster Care Program
Adoption Services
Village Christian School, a therapeutic learning center
MCH's agency offices, group home program, and Village Christian School are located in a rural setting approximately one hour northeast of Cincinnati.
Certification/License:
Ohio State Certification as a Math Education Teacher.
Education:
Bachelors from an accredited college or university in education discipline applicable to teaching assignment.
Masters Degree in related area preferred.
