JOB GOAL
To provide professional development for teachers and to provide them with additional support needed to implement various instructional programs and practices. The Math Specialist will also provide leadership for the district's entire Math K-12 program.
QUALIFICATIONS
State of Ohio teaching license/certificate Math 7-12 Master's degree preferred Three years of successful teaching experience Training and experience with mentoring and coaching adult learners Ability to communicate ideas and directives clearly and effectively both orally and in writing Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent and /or Board Of Education may find appropriate.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Facilitate the implementation of the District Math Program. Provide building-wide professional development implementing the DistrictMath Program and MTSS Procedures. Work with teachers/administrators in implementation and support of the District Math Plan. Work with the building principals/teacher leaders/math content chairs to coordinate, deliver and provide appropriate 7-12 professional development in math programs. Provide Assessment and instructional support as directed by the Curriculum Director. Work with district math teachers to coordinate math instruction.

Performance of these responsibilities will be evaluated annually by the Superintendent.
