STEM Teacher-Elementary 26-27 School Year

Kennett Consolidated School District is seeking an engaging, creative, teacher to work as a STEM teacher as part of our elementary related arts scheduling. Kennett's uniquely diverse student population makes applicants considered to be fluent or bilingual highly sought. Applicants with at least three (3) Spanish courses at the college/university level or who have a command of conversational Spanish are encouraged to apply. Current and valid teacher certificate (K-6) Experience designing instruction in math and science Experience with problem-based learning Recognizes the importance of and has experience integrating technology in a meaningful way Regularly uses technology to promote learning, creativity, and collaboration Analyzes and uses data to improve instruction Builds professional relationships and plan collaboratively Responds to teacher inquiries about research based instructional practices and / or STEM related curricular questions Facilitates hands-on experiments and projects that allow students to learn by doing and exploring.
