Federation of Pittsburgh Diocesan Teachers Tenure Track Position Overview Central Catholic High School is seeking a dynamic, innovative, and dedicated educator to step into the role of Long Term Math Sub for the first semester of the 2026-2027 academic year. The ideal candidate for this Long Term Math Sub position is a passionate professional committed to the academic, personal, and spiritual formation of young men in a Catholic, all-boys educational environment. Rooted in the Lasallian tradition, Central Catholic seeks an educator who will inspire students to grow as Men of Faith, Men of Scholarship, and Men of Service . This temporary full-time role offers a unique opportunity to join a vibrant school community in Pittsburgh that deeply values academic excellence, character development, and meaningful relationships.Primary Responsibilities Instruction & Collaboration:
Teach five sections of secondary Mathematics in close collaboration with the Math Department and participate in ongoing curriculum review.Mission Integration:

Assist with departmental initiatives or school-wide projects at the discretion of the Principal or President, in adherence to the Federation of Pittsburgh Diocesan Teachers' contract.Position Requirements & Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field required; Master's or advanced degree preferred.Certification:
Valid Pennsylvania teaching certification in Mathematics (Grades 7-12) is strongly preferred.Experience:
Prior secondary-level teaching experience preferred.Clearances:
Ability to obtain and maintain all required background checks and clearances mandated by the Diocese of Pittsburgh.Skills:
Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Outlook) is required.Physical Expectations:
Ability to occasionally lift up to 30 lbs. in the course of regular classroom duties.Coaching/Extracurriculars:
