Job Description:
Part-Time Instructor in Roman Civilization and/or Latin Language, Department of Classics The Classics Department at the University of Pittsburgh seeks an instructor for either a 3-credit section of Roman Civilization or a 4-credit section of beginning Latin. The successful candidate will need to have in hand, at the time of the hire, an MA in Classics and experience in teaching or supporting these or similar courses in the American post-secondary system. The appointment is for the fall semester, August 24, 2026, through December 12, 2026. The class will be taught in person.
