Exempt Job Summary The Department of Mathematics seeks candidates for a non-tenure track Instructor. The successful candidate will actively engage undergraduate students. Teaching responsibilities mostly includes instruction in lower-level courses.

Implement effective teaching strategies.

Serve the department on curriculum and teaching-related service assignments.

Minimum and Desired Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:

Master Degree in Mathematics

Previous teaching experience

Supplemental Information Key Competencies:

Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Ability to implement effective and innovative teaching strategies.

Demonstrated commitment to service to the university, profession, and community.

Physical Requirements:

Able to lift 25 lbs and be able to perform a variety of physical tasks including lifting, bending, stooping, squatting, stair climbing and walking between buildings.
