Job Description
Looking for a: Part-Time MS/HS Math Teacher Denton Calvary Academy - Denton, TX Denton Calvary Academy is seeking a qualified Christian educator to teach one or more high and/or middle school math courses, in our University-Model® program. This is a part-time position with classes meeting on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday . Our University-Model allows teachers to focus on classroom instruction while students complete guided assignments at home on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Qualifications A personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Must affirm the school's Statement of Faith. Bachelor's degree in science, education, engineering, or a related field. Experience teaching math is preferred. Teaching certification is preferred but not required. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Desire to mentor students academically and spiritually. Responsibilities Assess student learning and provide timely feedback. Communicate effectively with parents and administration. Integrate a biblical worldview throughout instruction. Participate in faculty meetings and school events as appropriate.
