The successful candidate will teach middle school mathematics courses ranging from Math 6 through Pre-Algebra and will be passionate about helping students develop strong mathematical foundations, confidence, and critical-thinking skills. We are seeking an educator who provides clear, engaging, and appropriately paced instruction, models mathematical concepts effectively, checks regularly for student understanding, and provides meaningful opportunities for guided and independent practice. The ideal candidate will maintain high academic expectations while recognizing and responding to the developmental and academic needs of middle school students. Qualifications for Middle School Mathematics Teacher Bachelor's degree required Teaching certificate required Middle school mathematics teaching experience preferred Experience teaching Math 6, Math 7, and/or Pre-Algebra strongly preferred Strong content knowledge and ability to explain mathematical concepts clearly and effectively Effective classroom management and student-engagement skills Strong communication, organization, and planning skills Ability to differentiate instruction for varying levels of student readiness Commitment to collaboration, professionalism, and continuous improvement Demonstrated commitment to Christian education and the mission and values of Northland Christian School Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
