Board Certified Mathematics and English Teacher-Justin,TX We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Middle/High-school Mathematics and English Teacher to join our educational team in Justin, TX. The ideal candidate will possess a strong command of both mathematical principles and English language arts, coupled with a commitment to fostering an exceptional and supportive learning environment for students. This position involves delivering comprehensive instruction across various M athematical concepts, ranging from foundational to advanced topics, as well as developing students' proficiency in English language, literature, and composition. The successful candidate will leverage innovative pedagogical approaches to engage students and cultivate a collaborative classroom where intellectual curiosity and academic growth are paramount. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement rigorous lesson plans that adhere to established curriculum standards and effectively address diverse learning styles in both mathematics and English. Provide instruction in a broad spectrum of mathematical concepts , including but not limited to algebra, geometry, calculus, and differential equations. Deliver comprehensive instruction in English language arts , encompassing reading comprehension, literary analysis, grammar, and various writing genres. Design and create engaging learning materials and assessments utilizing sound instructional design principles. Offer targeted tutoring and academic support to students requiring additional assistance in either subject area. Cultivate a dynamic and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active student participation, critical thinking, and peer collaboration. Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide timely, constructive feedback to facilitate academic improvement. Integrate educational technology into daily instruction to enhance the learning experience and achieve instructional objectives. Collaborate effectively with colleagues to refine teaching strategies, share best practices, and contribute to a cohesive academic department. Maintain accurate and confidential records of student performance, attendance, and progress. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, English, Education, or a closely related field. Teaching certification is highly preferred. Profound knowledge of mathematical principles and the demonstrated ability to articulate complex concepts with clarity and precision. Robust understanding of English language arts curriculum and effective pedagogical strategies for teaching reading, writing, and grammar. Proven experience working with students in an educational setting, ideally within a classroom or dedicated tutoring environment. Proficiency in instructional design methodologies and a demonstrated ability to construct effective and impactful lesson plans. Capability to apply mathematical theories in practical, real-world contexts. Exceptional communication skills , both written and verbal, with the capacity to effectively engage and motivate students. A strong passion for teaching and an unwavering commitment to fostering student success and academic excellence in both disciplines.
