THE OBJECTIVE
Royal Public Schools is seeking a Middle School Mathematics Teacher who will deliver engaging, grade-level learning experiences that help students grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university Minimum of 2 years of classroom experience is preferred Strong knowledge of mathematics and the ability to teach TEKS-aligned content
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Valid Teacher Certificate is preferred Experience using student data to plan reteaching, intervention, and enrichment Experience with Bluebonnet Learning, Carnegie Learning, i-Ready, and Eduphoria
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver rigorous, engaging, TEKS-aligned mathematics lessons Use assessment data to adjust instruction and provide targeted intervention and enrichment. Monitor student progress, provide timely feedback, and maintain accurate grades and records. Prepare and submit lesson plans and other required instructional documents on time. Integrate appropriate technology and instructional strategies to strengthen student engagement and learning. Collaborate with colleagues, instructional coaches, and administrators to improve student outcomes. Communicate regularly and professionally with students and families about progress and support needs. Follow school policies and consistently uphold the Student Code of Conduct. Participate in professional development, staff meetings, committees, and other duties as assigned. Maintain a well-managed classroom with clear expectations, strong routines, and a safe, inclusive culture. Perform other duties as assigned by the administrators.
