Math Interventionist - Part-Time We are seeking a Part-Time Math Interventionist to support students and math teachers at a local school during the 2026-2027 school year .

1900 N Valley Mills Dr, Waco, TX 76710 About the Position The Math Interventionist will work directly with students in small-group settings to provide targeted mathematics support. This position will also support multiple math teachers throughout the school day . You will help students strengthen their mathematical skills, problem-solving abilities, computation, reasoning, and overall understanding of key math concepts while working closely with classroom teachers and school staff. Responsibilities Provide small-group math intervention and academic support Work with students to strengthen foundational and grade-level math skills Support number sense, computation, problem-solving, and mathematical reasoning Work with multiple math teachers throughout the school day Monitor and document student progress Help identify and address student learning gaps Provide targeted support based on individual student needs Maintain a positive, structured, and supportive learning environment Collaborate with teachers and school staff Qualifications Bachelor's degree required Strong knowledge of K-12 Mathematics Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively with small groups of students Ability to collaborate with multiple teachers and school staff Passion for supporting student academic growth Previous teaching, tutoring, or intervention experience Important Assignment Information This is a school-based, need-dependent assignment .
