Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Title I Math Teacher to join our dynamic educational team. Responsibilities Develop and deliver comprehensive math lessons aligned with state standards, focusing on topics such as Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, Discrete Math, and Differential Equations Implement curriculum tailored to meet the needs of students from varied learning styles and cultural backgrounds Use educational technology tools to create interactive lessons that enhance understanding and engagement Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations; adjust instruction accordingly to improve learning outcomes Manage classroom behavior effectively to foster a positive, respectful learning environment Collaborate with fellow teachers, special educators, and administrators to design interdisciplinary lessons and share best practices Provide tutoring and additional support for students requiring extra assistance in math or related science subjects like Biology, Chemistry, or Microbiology Prepare students for standardized testing by integrating test-taking strategies into daily instruction Engage in ongoing professional development related to curriculum implementation, educational research, and classroom management techniques Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate progress with parents and guardians regularly Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field Valid teaching certification for high school or middle school mathematics education Proven experience teaching math at the secondary level, including working with teenagers from diverse backgrounds Excellent classroom management skills coupled with the ability to adapt instruction based on individual learning styles Experience working with students with special needs or in inclusive classrooms is advantageous Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and participate in team-based planning sessions Strong communication skills for engaging students, parents, and staff effectively Knowledge of standardized testing procedures and curriculum compliance regulationsJoin us in shaping the future by empowering students through innovative math instruction!
