Mathnasium in Fairfax has immediate openings for a math instructor / teacher that can teach Algebra 2, Geometry and or Pre-Calculus to students. You will work at our Fairfax location and students will be assigned to you based on your math level. Curriculum and materials are pre-determined for each student, and instructor will apply the teaching methods presented during training. It is a great part time job for a school teacher to work 1 or more days per week (3-4 hours each day in a single shift)

Required Qualifications:

Good math skills Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills Ability to professionally interact with students and parents Energetic and confident personality Ability to teach students in upper level high school math courses

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous teaching experience or other experience working with students Hours may vary, but could include mid-afternoon through early evening hours, Monday --Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings, approximately 8-25 hours per week (flexible). Compensation is $17-20 per hour. (negotiable for right candidate) Reply with resume.
