Jul 1, 2026 Job Description Georgia Elementary & Middle School is seeking a Math Interventionist to support 7th and 8th grade students. The math interventionist will collaborate with classroom teachers and special educators to provide direct targeted instruction based on individual student needs. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of how to use formative and summative data to drive targeted instruction, monitor student growth, and adapt instructional approaches to ensure students' success.
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure equitable and inclusive educational opportunities for all students.
  • Be willing to collaborate, learn, and grow within a team.
  • Knowledge of research based best practices in literacy.
  • Ability to work effectively with individual and small groups of students who need targeted intervention.
  • Provide and progress monitor targeted interventions based on changing student needs.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Effectively communicate with a variety of constituents, including students, faculty, administrators, parents, and the broader school community.
  • Reflect upon their practice and data to continue to grow professionally.
