Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic educational team as a High School Mathematics Teacher, dedicated to inspiring and empowering students through engaging and comprehensive math instruction. In this role, you will develop and implement innovative curricula, foster a positive classroom environment, and support students' academic growth across a wide range of mathematical disciplines. Your passion for teaching and commitment to educational excellence will help shape the future mathematicians and critical thinkers of tomorrow. Responsibilities Design and deliver engaging lessons in algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, discrete math, differential equations, and other advanced mathematical topics tailored to high school students' learning styles and needs Develop curriculum materials that align with educational standards and incorporate current learning technology to enhance student understanding Manage classroom behavior effectively to create an inclusive, respectful, and motivating learning environment Assess student progress through assignments, tests, standardized exams, and project work; provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, curriculum implementation, and educational technology integration to ensure cohesive instruction across grade levels Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate students from diverse cultural backgrounds and those with special educational needs Engage in ongoing professional development activities such as research, instructional design workshops, and educational research to stay current with best practices in math education Experience Proven experience teaching high school mathematics with a strong background in algebra, geometry, calculus, trigonometry, discrete math, differential equations, and related fields Demonstrated ability to develop curriculum content that meets academic standards while fostering student engagement Experience working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds and implementing differentiated instruction techniques Familiarity with educational technology tools for lesson planning, instructional delivery, and assessment purposes Prior classroom management experience that promotes a positive learning environment while maintaining high behavioral standards Knowledge of standardized testing procedures and experience preparing students for exams such as state assessments or college entrance tests Background in working collaboratively within a school community—participating in teacher collaboration teams, mentoring peers or new teachers—and contributing to school-wide initiatives Join us in making a meaningful impact by nurturing curiosity in mathematics while supporting students' academic journeys. Pay:
$42,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
