27 Arkansas State University-Newport (ASUN) invites applications to fill Adjunct Faculty positions. Adjunct Faculty_General Education provide instruction in the areas of: General Education Math Fine Arts (theater & visual) Life Sciences Physical Science Psychology Microcomputers withBusiness Applications Chemistry Sociology Spanish History Qualification Requirement :
A Master's Degree with 18 semester credit hours in the major area of concentration and a Doctorate is preferred. Experience teaching online courses is a definite plus. Opportunities exist to provide both online and onsite instruction at Newport, Jonesboro, and Marked Tree. The ASU System limits adjunct faculty employment to a maximum of nine (9) total credit hours per academic semester across all ASU System institutions combined. Adjunct employees may not exceed this limit through appointments at multiple ASU System campuses. It is the responsibility of the employee to disclose all current and anticipated adjunct assignments within the ASU System to ensure compliance with this policy.
