Job Description
Overview Touro University Florida is hiring adjunct faculty in the following disciplines: Natural Sciences Mathematics Psychology Economics Computer Science Adjuncts are responsible for instruction, course preparation, developing instructional materials, student advisement, grading, and assessment to our undergraduate students. Responsibilities Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Develop and deliver course syllabi, lectures, and assignments that are aligned with the department's curriculum and meet the needs of students. Grade student work promptly and provide feedback as necessary. Prepare students for assessments and provide helpful performance feedback. Meet with students during regularly scheduled office hours and other scheduled times to provide support and guidance. Participate in department meetings and faculty development activities. Keep up-to-date on the latest developments within discipline and incorporate them into teaching materials. Create an inclusive classroom environment where students feel comfortable participating and learning. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education/Experience A Master's degree or higher in relevant academic field required. Previous college-level teaching experience strongly preferred. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong commitment to teaching excellence. Strong organizational skills. Strong knowledge base within academic field; ability to keep up to date with advancements in field of study. Travel As needed Maximum Salary USD $6,000.00/Course Minimum Salary USD $4,800.00/Course
