Aug. 18, 2025 Job Summary The Department of Mathematics at Jacksonville University invites applications for adjunct mathematics positions in Fall 2025 to teach undergraduate courses in the areas of:- College Algebra
- Precalculus
- Elementary Statistics These courses are mainly taught in the morning as 75-minute classes, two days a week.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Adjunct faculty members must perform all job duties associated with teaching courses at the postsecondary level. These duties include- Providing lectures.
- Writing and grading exams and providing feedback on other assignments.
- Providing prompt responses to student questions.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
