Exempt Bargaining Unit 0 Description Governors State University's College of Arts and Sciences seeks to create an available pool of Adjunct Faculty candidates to teach Mathematics courses in the Division of Science, Mathematics and Technology . At Governors State University, adjunct faculty are hired as temporary faculty, on a course basis each term, with teaching responsibilities for a specific course in a semester or summer session. Salary Range for Adjuncts teaching in this academic area is $500.00 - $4,500.00 per course. Adjuncts are not tenure-track, not a part of the faculty bargaining unit, and are not included in membership of Faculty Senate. Required and Preferred Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Master's Degree in Mathematics or related field. Preferred Qualifications PhD in Mathematics Experience teaching college level Mathematics. Professional experience in Mathematics or a related field.
