Saint Josephs College of Maine invites applications for an Online Adjunct Faculty member to teach Elementary Statistics as part of our online undergraduate core curriculum. This position requires an instructor dedicated to delivering rigorous quantitative instruction while supporting diverse student learning styles online.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver online undergraduate instruction in Elementary StatisticsPrepare course modules by making minor revisions as needed for ongoing course enhancement and updating required texts, software tools, or reading listsMaintain strict compliance with the Faculty Teaching Commitments for Student Success, the SJC Policy Guidebook, and the Faculty HandbookManage and monitor the assigned official SJC email account for all college communicationsExecute approved ADA accommodations in full compliance with the Colleges ADA Accommodations Officer to maintain an accessible learning environmentAssist the Program Director with annual faculty performance evaluationsAttend SJC Online Faculty meetings, departmental sessions, conference calls, and relevant workshopsActively support the Mission, Objectives, and Core Values of the Saint Josephs College community

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

Masters degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or a closely related quantitative field from an accredited institution (Ph.D. preferred)

Experience:

Prior experience teaching statistics or quantitative reasoning in an online learning environment

Technical & Pedagogical Skills:
