Dec 19, 2025 Description The International Relations Department at Hobart and William Smith Colleges invites applications for a postdoctoral fellowship position in European Politics, beginning August 1, 2026. This is a full-time, one-year position with a teaching load of four courses per year. The successful candidate will be able to teach Introduction to Comparative Politics, in addition to an intermediate-level European politics course and a thematic course in a more specific area of their research expertise that might be cross-listed with other interdisciplinary programs. Candidates for this position should have a Ph.D. in Political Science, International Relations, or a related field by August 2026, possess a strong research agenda, and a record of or potential for excellence in undergraduate teaching.
