Job Description

The Integrated Innovation Institute (III) at Carnegie Mellon University seeks an adjunct professor for 49-604 - Innovation Processes & Tools within the Methods & Tools for Product Innovation Certificate in our MIIPS Online Degree for the fall 2026 term. This course will meet every other Wednesday from 8:00-9:30pm ET, throughout the semester. Qualified candidates will have previous online teaching and work experience related to the disciplines of engineering, design, and business and an interest to build impactful solutions that create value for real people. Teaching skills should include using assigned textbook readings, case study analyses, group discussions, written assignments, oral presentations, and individual research. Applicants for this position must be currently legally authorized to work for CMU in the United States. CMU will not sponsor or take over the sponsorship of an employment visa for this opportunity. In accordance with the pay transparency legislation set forth by CA, the corresponding salary range for this position, if placed in CA, is between $40-$70.
