JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Penn State Wilkes-Barre seeks exceptional part-time faculty to teach undergraduate courses across multiple disciplines including: Computer Science Criminal Justice Economics Education Engineering Finance History Mathematics Sociology Position Overview Part-time faculty members play a vital role in our academic community by delivering high-quality instruction and supporting student success.

Responsibilities include:

Teaching assigned courses Developing and preparing comprehensive course materials Providing meaningful support, guidance, and mentorship to students Maintaining accurate and timely grade reporting Contributing to a positive learning environment

Qualifications Required:

Master's degree in the relevant discipline or closely related field

Preferred:
