TEACHING POSITION
Requires Alaska teaching certificate with appropriate endorsement (s) (for information visit: http://www.eed.state.ak.us/TeacherCertification ).
Position Summary :
This position is a good opportunity for anyone who enjoys teaching high school level Physical Education and working with an Online Grading System.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in education. Valid Alaska teaching certificate with appropriate endorsement.
Other Requirements:
Master's degree in education preferred. Excellent communication skills. Experience teaching high school level students is preferred. An emphasis is placed on the ability to develop excellent working relationships with students and colleagues.
Compensation:
Salary is dependent on experience and education. The Juneau School District offers a competitive salary, an excellent benefit package including medical, dental, vision, and the Teachers Retirement System (TRS) plan.
