MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field. Valid Arizona Teaching Certificate, Substitute Teacher Certificate, or Guidance Counseling Certificate Current IVP fingerprint clearance card Experience working with school-age children in classroom, out of school, or educational settings. Knowledge of effective instructional practices and student engagement strategies. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, families, and community partners. Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.

REQUIREMENTS PRIOR TO START DATE

Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

Experience in out of school, summer learning, or expanded learning programs. Bilingual (English/Spanish) Experience working with diverse student populations.

12 month Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits. Salary will be prorated if the start date is after the first day of the work calendar for the position.
