$30 per hour About Our Family We are seeking an experienced, organized, and engaging homeschool teacher to educate our four children (ages 4-15) in a private homeschool setting. Our family will usesThe Good and the Beautiful curriculum for the younger children ages 4 and 11, along with California online homeschool programs and dual-enrollment college courses for our older students. We are looking for someone who is comfortable teaching multiple grade levels while creating a structured, encouraging, and academically challenging learning environment. Responsibilities Teach and manage individualized instruction for students ages 4-15 Implement The Good and the Beautiful curriculum across multiple subjects Support students enrolled in California online homeschool programs and ensure coursework is completed on schedule Assist older students with dual-enrollment/community college classes, organization, study skills, assignments, and exams Customize lessons to meet each child's learning style and academic goals Plan engaging enrichment activities, projects, and educational field trips Track academic progress and maintain homeschool records Communicate regularly with parents regarding progress and educational planning Qualifications Bachelor's degree required (teaching credential preferred but not required) Previous experience as a homeschool teacher, private educator, or classroom teacher Strong familiarity with The Good and the Beautiful curriculum Experience working with California online homeschool programs or independent study is highly preferred. California offers several home education pathways, including independent study and charter-based programs, in addition to traditional homeschooling.
