Job Description
Child Development Teacher

The district shall not inquire into any employee's immigration status nor discriminate against an employee on the basis of immigration status, unless there is clear and convincing evidence that the district is required to do so in order to comply with federal immigration law. Discrimination in employment based on the characteristics listed above is prohibited in all areas of employment and in all employment-related practices. The district designates the position identified below as its coordinator for nondiscrimination in employment (coordinator) to organize and manage the district's efforts to comply with state and federal nondiscrimination laws and to answer inquiries regarding the district's nondiscrimination policies. PRIMARY FUNCTION
Under the direction of the Child Development Program Director, provide a sound educational program utilizing the most effective instructional and motivational techniques, to work in close cooperation with students, parents, fellow teachers and administrators, and to instruct, guide, supervise, discipline, and counsel pre-school age children; to enforce all rules, regulations and policies of the state and local Governing Board, to carry out all conditions, prescribed in the approved curriculum of the school and in the Education Code; and to perform other duties as required. View Job Description Requirements / Qualifications CA Child Development Teaching Permit required. Current CPR and First Aid certification, along with required immunizations, are also required. This position is located at the Carmelo Child Development Center. Based on program needs and the applicant's experience, the assignment may be in a UPK, Pre-K, toddler, or infant classroom.Educational incentive:
Bachelor's- $1,000, Master's
- $2,000, Doctorate
