Outdoor Afterschool Program Location:
El Segundo 90245
Schedule:
3 hours per day, 2 days per week

Part-Time, In person Yogativity is seeking an enthusiastic Lead Instructor to lead our Outdoor Explorers afterschool enrichment program for TK-3rd grade students . This hands-on program inspires curiosity through nature exploration, gardening, environmental education, outdoor games, teamwork, and creative activities while fostering confidence, responsibility, leadership, and a love for the outdoors, on a school campus. Responsibilities Lead engaging outdoor enrichment lessons for TK-3 students. Facilitate gardening activities, nature walks, environmental investigations, cooperative games, and hands-on projects. Create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment. Manage student behavior using positive classroom management strategies. Collaborate with school staff and Yogativity team members. Complete attendance and basic program documentation. Qualifications Experience working with elementary-aged children in education, recreation, camps, gardening, or afterschool programs. Strong leadership, communication, and classroom management skills. Interest in outdoor learning, gardening, environmental education, and youth development. Reliable transportation and punctual attendance. Ability to pass DOJ Live Scan, TB clearance, and all district employment requirements. This position requires standing, walking, pulling a cart and sometimes carrying supplies (20Lbs) What We Offer Competitive hourly pay. Paid training and curriculum provided.
