Duties Plan, organize, and facilitate a variety of educational, recreational, and enrichment activities tailored to diverse age groups and developmental needs Maintain a safe and structured environment through effective classroom management and behavior guidance strategies Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring their safety through vigilant child supervision and adherence to first aid protocols Implement youth development programs that foster social skills, teamwork, creativity, and confidence Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns Collaborate with team members to develop program schedules and adapt activities to meet individual needs, including those requiring special education accommodations Respond promptly to emergencies using first aid procedures such as CPR or AED operation when necessary Experience Prior experience working with children in educational settings, childcare centers, camps, or youth programs is highly preferred Demonstrated classroom management skills with the ability to engage children positively and handle behavioral challenges effectively Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development best practices Experience facilitating youth group activities or leading outdoor work experiences is advantageous Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, or willingness to obtain these certifications upon hire is required Background in sports coaching, theater arts, babysitting, or tutoring can enhance your ability to create diverse engaging activities Strong team leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a dynamic environment Join us in creating a fun-filled after-school experience that nurtures growth, encourages curiosity, and builds lasting memories!
